Color Option Vinyl Backed Cocoa Matting is often the designer's "Go To" entrance matting product when the client seeks a Natural "Look" but still wants the entrance matting to complement the colors of the lobby decor.  Made from the almost indestructible outer husk of the coconut, cocoa fibers are tufted into a sturdy yet flexible vinyl base which allows for ease of maintenance, simple installation and conformability to contours and shapes without the concern for binding edges or the unraveling of material.

Color Option Vinyl Backed Cocoa Matting is available in either Full Rolls or either 3'-3" x 41' or 6'-6" x 41' and in Custom Cut Rolls, Mats and pieces. Click HERE for Flammability Test Results.

Color Option Vinyl Backed Cocoa Matting can be precision cut to create special designs,  numbers, letters, or multi-colored company logos.       Color Option Cocoa Matting may be applied as surface mounted matting which would require beveled safety edging at traffic transition points. It can also be placed in a recessed well to avoid the necessity of f negotiating the difference in terrain when moving from outside the building, through the entrance area and onto the main lobby floor. The use of a metal frame inside the recessed well is suggested to protect the surrounding flooring and to insure the integrity of the walls of the recessed well and thereby against any possibility of mat migration or edge failure.

Prices are exclusive of freight. Deliveries to NY, CT and NJ will have appropriate sales tax added to final invoice.

Custom size mats are cut from full widths of 6'-7" to lengths of up to 41 feet maximum. To determine the material cost of custom cut mats, multiply the original roll width, i.e. 6'-7" by the overall length of the mat being ordered. Multiply the product by the per SF price found on the Cut Roll Price Chart.

When cut sections of Color Option Vinyl Backed Cocoa Mats are placed next to one another in service there is a visable seam so one knows where one section ends and the next section begins. Such an instalation can be so ordered from the mill with a unifying backing holding the sections together. Or, the matting can be cut to the desired sizes and placed in service using the surrounding walls or recessed frames or other devices to hold the sections in place.
