Sole of the Matter Wood-Like Interlocking Comfort Matting and Flooring is 5/8" thick and can be installed in wall-to-wall applications or as stand alone islands or pods. Edge pieces are available to present a finished edge. The low profile of the material makes transitioning at the edges easy.

The piesec fit together by slipping the interlocking keys together and in a few minutes entire installations can be deployed. The outer perimiter can either be trimmed to fit in order to make the outer edges conform exactly to the surrounding walls. There are also edge pieces and corners which can be used to create that finished look without the need for trimming.

No cementing into place is required and should any piece ever become damaged or od stained, it can be easily rotated to an out of the way area or replaced with "attic stock" in a few moments.
