General Guidelines:
1. Use one Pad per stabilizer or outrigger.
2. Do not allow edges of a pad to bow up or flex more than 1/2". If that condition exists, stop use right away and use cribbing blocks to correct it.
3. It is best that the Ground Stabilizer Pad be no more than 1/3 larger than the diameter or footprint of the machine's stabilizer pad.
4. We use the terms Stabilizer and Outrigger interchangably because in some industries one or the other terms is uses to refer to this part of the machine.
