SaniGuard Press Release from The Mat King:
Swine Influenza H1N1 (Pig Flu)
November 3, 2009
A Public health emergency has been declared by The Department of Health and Human Services in the United States due to the number of confirmed cases of Swine Influenza (H1N1) reported.
It is explained by the CDC, the Center for Disease Control, that the Swine influenza is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by Type A influenza viruses. Humans can be infected with influenza H1N1. The CDC says “Pigs most commonly get infected with the flu viruses from other pigs (Swine Flu), but also can get infected with flu viruses from birds (Avian Flu), and from people (Human Flu). This cross-species spread of flu viruses can lead to new types of flu viruses.
It is extremely important that all surfaces that you come into contact with are sanitized especially with this threat of an Influenza Pandemic. SaniGuard has been tested to kill Influenza A viruses in which H1N1 is a subtype. SaniGuard sanitizing surface spray is effective against 39 different germs, bacteria, fungus and viruses including Influenza A/Brazil, Influenza A/PR, E Coli (Bacterial Meningitis), Rubella (Viral Meningitis), Salmonella, Streptococcus, Staph, Herpes Simplex and HIV.
Sanitizing contaminated surfaces with SaniGuard Dry on Contact Surface Spray can prevent the spread of Influenza Type A (H1N1). SaniGuard can be used to sanitize virtually any hard surface especially surfaces that are touched by several people like computer keyboards, telephones, cash registers, ATM’s, grocery cart handles, light switches, door knobs, toilet seats, restroom fixtures, rental cars, the list is almost endless. The SaniGuard Fogger is also an excellent way to prevent contamination in large rooms or areas; the 8oz. fogger effectively sanitizes up to 625 square feet, while a 3oz. fogger sanitizes 125 square feet. For more information or questions about this or any other matter.
The CDC also recommends that you cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
Wash your hands with soap and water often, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are also effective. Avoid contact with sick people and if you do get sick stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to help eliminate spreading the illness. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth since that is the fastest way to spread the virus.
Protect yourself and your loved ones against this possible pandemic.
