Vinyl Backed Cocoa Matting is made
by the only American manufacturer of vinyl backed coir fiber entrance
mats and entrance floor covering material. Domestic
Vinyl Backed Cocoa Matting
is made from fibers spun from the almost indestructible
outer husk of the coconut which are imbedded and fused into a durable
vinyl backing. The cocoa fibers quickly clean grit and moisture from shoes,
which protects expensive interior carpet and flooring. It dries rapidly,
will not mildew or rot, and meets Federal Specifications (DOC FF 1-70)
for surface flammability. It has also been tested under ASTM-E84-80 surface
burning characteristics of building materials and has received a Class
"B" rating. Domestic
Vinyl Backed Cocoa Matting does
not generate static electricity. The fibers can be easily vacuumed when
dry with a standard commercial type vacuum cleaner. After the matting
has experienced considerable use, washing it with a mild soap and water
solution and thoroughly drying it will improve its appearance. It is available
in Natural Tan and can be electrostaticly flocked with Nylon fibers to
create elegant designs, emblems and corporate logos.

On the job, Domestic Vinyl Backed Cocoa Matting is easy to install even when faced with difficult floor and wall contours. Because of its unique construction, it is self-binding and will not fray when cut. Unlike some flimsy and thin entrance products, Domestic Vinyl Backed Cocoa Matting will not curl up to become a dangerous tripping hazard. |   |
