| Instructions |
| 1. Turn
off the engine of the vehicle and engage the emergency brake. |
| 2. Place
the extended studded side of the mats down on the ice or compacted
snow. |
| 3. Place
the end under the drive wheels to be used.
i.e. For rear wheel drive vehicles, place the mats under the rear
wheels. For front wheel drive vehicles, place mats under the front
wheels. |
| 4. Center
the mats on each tire in line with the tire tracks in front or behind
the wheels, depending on the direction needed to free the vehicle. |
| 5. Start
the engine and release the emergency brake and drive VERY SLOWLY
up onto the Ice Breaker Mats, and, as pressure is applied, the studs
projecting down will dig into the ice and snow and the vehicle will
be freed. |
| WARNING:
To avoid possible injury, no one should stand directly behind or
in front of the vehicle when the mats are in use. |
| 6. Storage:
Brush and wipe steel studs clean of snow and ice after use. Store
dry or wrapped in heavy duty plastic or canvas bag to minimize rust
formation. |
