The
Mat King Industrial Tire Link Mats and Matting
are available in either Plain or Fuzzy Styles.
The Plain are basically Grey and the Fuzzy can vary from a variety of
grays to almost brown, depending on the kind of belting that was imbedded
in the original tires from which the mats are made.
The Plain Link and Fluff Link mats are about 1/2” to 5/8 thick. Links are about 2-1/2" long and about 1/2" thick. The wire used to hold the mats together is 12-guage galvanized to to inhibit rust. The wires are bent over at the ends and closed with a plastic clip. One of the primary uses of The Mat King Industrial Tire Link Mats and Matting is outside doorways to building as they are very good at scraping dirt and even mud off shoes and boots. The soil goes between the mat links and does not get tracked inside. The matting is also used as anti-fatigue mats and matting in certain industrial areas that do not involve a great amount of metal chips and cutting oils. The Mat King Industrial Tire Link Mats and Matting can be equipped with beveled rubber safety nosing on any or all four edges for applications where extra protection against tripping on the natural cliff edges is required. Mats are shipped in cardboard boxes.
