First Defense ESD Dissipative Carpet Tiles creates an ESD protected flooring and an environment that is quiet, beautiful, and productive which can improve indoor air quality while requiring a fraction of the maintenance needed by other flooring methods. First Defense ESD Dissipative Carpet Tiles are designed to be low
tribocharging (antistatic), and dissipative (able to provide a path-to-ground to remove electrostatic charges) fulfilling the recommended Flooring technical requirements of ANSI/ESD S20.20. Its paragraph 6.2.2.2 Personnel Grounding Guidance states: "ESD protective flooring, used with approved footwear, may be used
as an alternative to the wrist strap system for standing operations."
