Product Specification for Summit Rubber Transit Stair Tread: The Summit Rubber Transit Stair Tread shall be compounded from natural and or synthetic rubber with a conical shaped design surface. Each conical or cone shaped raised stud shall have a trunkated top and be a nominal height of 0.130 inches with a base dimension of 0.375 inches tapering to 0.125 inches at the peak or "summit" which being trunkated, is flat. The raised "summit" also known as the "Apex Pattern" shall be spaced 0.75 inches on center. The integral contrasting nose (white or yellow) shall have a nominal width of 1.75 inches and a 1.25 (ID) lip. The rubber composition shall be bonded to 22 guage galvanized metal backing during vulcanization. The The product shall have a Flame Spread Rating of 25 or less when tested in accordance with ASTM-E84. The Summit Rubber Transit Stair Tread shall be installed with _________.
