Caring for Garrison Protective Table Pads: The vinyl top of Garrison Protective Table Pads can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Please do not use any abrasive cleaner. The bottom of Garrison Protective Table Pads can be cleaned with a dry soft-bristled brush. Please do not use any liquid. Garrison Table Pads should be stored in a flat position and it is recommended that they be stored in a shipping carton or in storage bags made for that purpose. Avoid storing Garrison Table Pads in high temperature or extremely high humidity environments.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Garrison Table Pads should not be used as a hot mat, hot pad or trivit. The Garrison Table Pad vinyl cover and the lacquer surface of fine furniture are both susceptable to heat damage if high level and persistant heat sources are left on the table pads. Please use an extra hot mat, hot pad or trivit on top of the table pads when using electrical appliances, hot dishes, hot casseroles, or the like. Such items generate an extra concentration of heat. Please use Garrison Table Pads with the vinyl side facing up. Table pads shouldbe removed once or twice monthly and ventilated to preclude moisture build-up between the pads and the table. Backward folding of Garrisone Table Pads can cause material inside the seams to break and should be avoided.
Garrison Table Pads protect furniture surfaces against accidental heat damage up to the following specified levels:
