you. These solid rubber walk pads are designed specifically for the roofing
industry. They are available in two distinctive non-skid designs for safe
use even when wet: “Raised Dot” Surface and the low-profile “Tiny-Diamonds”
Surface.

| Installation - Roof Topper Matting is compatible with single-ply and built-up roofing and can be used on all types of new or existing roofs to provide a safe, stable and maintenance-free walkway for access to air conditioning, water supply, communication or electrical equipment. It is non-porous which means it is not affected by freeze/thaw conditions and, when attached to the roof, will stay in place. The roof must be cleared of any loose dirt, debris or moisture before installation. Proper spacing of approximately 2” apart eliminates water damming and allows for expansion during hot weather. Mats are to be adhered with a 100% evenly applied coverage of an adhesive compatible to both the matting and to the substrate. The use of a test section is advisable to determine whether the adhesive is compatible to the substrate. Roof Topper Matting may be installed as a "seamless" unit by decreasing the spacing to approximately 1/4" between mats and filling the spaces with the the compatible adhesive to completely seal the matting and, thereby, eliminating the possibility for moisture to work its way between the mats. Roof Topper Matting can be easily cut to conform to drain openings or other roof obstructions. Ultraseal Adhesive has been found to be compatible with Roof Topper Matting and has been most often proven to be compatible with existing roof substrates over which Roof Topper Matting is to be installed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Roof Topper Matting can be used to serve as machinery pads, vibration pads or to provide full roof-wide protective coverage. Safety officers can choose Roof Topper Matting in 3/8”, 1/2” or 3/4” thick versions for long-lasting and heavy-duty, heavier-duty and heaviest-duty roof protection.

Warranty The manufacturer conditionally warrants the Roof Topper Matting against defects in materials and workmanship. Roof Topper Mats are fully warranted for the first three (3) years. Failure after the third year will be warranted to 40% of the then current value in the fourth year, and 20% of the then current value in the fifth year. Warranty is limited
to the purchase price of the product only. No other warranties are expressed
or implied. This warranty does
not extend to deterioration caused by incompatible adhesives or roofing
materials. Roof Topper Matting is manufactured from reclaimed SBR material
and can be adversely affected by certain adhesives and roof materials.
It is therefore recommended that Roof Topper Matting be installed only
after the proper adhesive has been determined for the particular roof
application. See Installation Instructions for complete details. Responsibility for determining suitability for specific applications remains with the architect, engineer, contractor or user/owner. Specifier and user shall assume all liability and responsibility for the application of all products supplied by The Mat King. |
