The continuous black vinyl hinge securely connects the aluminum tread rails. The uniqueness of the vinyl hinge has been specially crafted to be what is termed "dual-durometer" in that it has two distinctly selected degrees of measurable relative hardness, softness and flexibility. One provides a soft cushion feel to the user while the other delivers a rigid base to insure that a dimensional stability is maintained. Features: - Up State Aluminum Rail and Aluminum Hinged Roll-up Entrance Mats are available with two different vinyl nosing options, beveled (ramped), for surface mounted applications and square for deployment in a recessed well with an aluminum frame.

Hinges can be supplied in either standard solid formulatrion, which allows dirt to be contained for ease of cleaning or in optional perforated formulation, which permits grit and dirt to "work their way" under the mat to be out-of-sight for later cleanout.

Tread inserts are availabie in 42 combinations of colors and materials to accomodate most any decore and functional requirements that may present themselves.

Maximum tread area for increased scraping and absorption.

Weight: (typical) 2.3 Ib./ft2 depending upon tread insert selection.

Aluminum components are available in mill finish, clear anodized or bronze anodized.
