| Electrical Switchboard
Matting is rubber matting designed for electrical
insulation, as a floor covering to prevent shock around high voltage
electrical apparatus, fuse boxes, switchgear, control panels, and
heavy machinery. It meets and exceeds current ASTM, ANSI (plus
IEC Division of ANSI, Tech. Committee-78) specifications for this
material. In addition, OSHA requirements' intent to eliminate
the electrical hazards of high voltage shock in the workplace is
abundantly clear. IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE USED AS A "HOT"
RAIL BLANKET. ALSO, MATTING WITH PUNCTURES OR CRACKS SHOULD
NOT BE PLACED IN SERVICE. |

Switchboard matting provided by The Mat King meets and exceeds
the current parameters of ASTM D-178-93 Type I. This specification
(the most quoted in the industry) covers acceptance testing of Rubber
insulating matting for use as a floor covering for protection of
workers. |

This is strictly a matter of communicating thickness and
dielectric test voltage when new:
Class 1 = 3/16" Thick (20,000
volts)
Class 2 = 1/4" Thick (30,000 volts)
Class 3 = 3/8" Thick (40,000 volts)
Class 4 = 1/2" Thick (50,000 volts) |

Thick x 36" wide matting can be made CI (i.e., Cloth Inserted)
- Special from production at additional cost.
2. 3/8" Thick or 1/2"
Thick x 24", 30", 36", or 48" wide matting
CAN NOT be made COS (i.e., Cloth One Side) - i.e., NOT AVAILABLE.
3. Type II Electrical Switchboard
Matting can be made to special order, either #750M or #6883M (1.43
specific gravity). Type II Electrical Switchboard Matting
is made to be Oil Resistant and Ozone Resistant. Type II Electrical Switchboard
Matting can also be made to be Oil Resistant, Ozone
Resistant and Flame Retardant as well. Type I Electrical Switchboard

| Warranty:
Manufacturer Guarantees to replace
or, at its option, to repair any product or part thereof which,
in its opinion, is defective in material or workmanship within 90
days from the date of shipment provided that such product has been
used in accordance with instructions issued by The Mat King. Such
obligation shall be limited to replacement, or repair, F.O.B. place
of shipment and, in no event, shall The Mat King be liable for consequential
damages, losses or expenses incurred in connection with, or by reason
of, the use or inability of any product. The Mat King products
are intended to be consumed during normal usage and The Mat King
will not be responsible for any damage, losses or injury to equipment,
persons, products or facilities regardless of cause and the purchaser
accepts this position without legal recourse upon receipt of the
purchase order acknowledgment or upon receipt of the products. THIS
WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY MADE IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
