G-Force Traction Matting is extremely tough, durable and long lasting safety matting. It is designed to take many years of abuse. However, the life span of G-Force Traction Matting can be greatly lengthened with very simple care and maintenance.

Daily cleaning and drying is an ideal way to increase the life span of the G-Force Traction Matting. The following simple steps are recommend:

1. Roll up and move - Roll up the safety mat and place it in another area for cleaning. (Despite being extremely durable and tough, G-Force Traction Matting is lightweight and easy to roll. A 3' x 15’ mat weighs less than 40 pounds.)

2. Scrub and rinse on both sides - Using a deck brush with water and mild detergent scrub the mat until clean on both the top and bottom surfaces. Cleaning should take just a few minutes. (Does not use bleach). During and after scrubbing, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

3. Let it dry - Allow both the mat and the floor to dry before returning the mat to its original placement. We recommend hanging the mat to allow both top and bottom to drip dry.

In addition, G-Force Traction Matting can be safely cleaned using a steam cleaner, a medium pressure washer, or a large dishwasher. Mild detergents can be used, but bleach should be avoided. Again, daily cleaning and drying will extend the life span of G-Force Traction Matting.
The life span of G-Force Traction Matting depends on how it is maintained. If the matting is not maintained properly, like anything else, it will not last as long as it would if was. When properly maintained, G-Force Traction Matting should provide years of effective use.
