G-Force Traction Matting
Traction is the Attraction Here

G-Force Traction Matting is a low profile slip-resistant matting product designed for use in industrial kitchens and high slip areas throughout the scope of work areas in both indoor and outdoor applications.

G-Force Traction Matting is made from a tough polyurethane base with high tack back to keep the mat in place. The top surface is available in two formulations:

Mach 1, which is a homogeneous mixture of slip resistant ceramic beads that provide great traction and which allows G-Force Traction Matting to be cleaned easily.

Mach 2, which is a homogeneous mixture of slip resistant ceramic beads that provide great traction and which allows G-Force Traction Matting to be cleaned easily.

Mach 3, which is a generous coverage of tiny shards of the semi-precious stone which provides higher traction capabilities than Mach 1's ceramic topped version.

G-Force Mach 1 - homogeneous mixture of slip resistant ceramic beads and a modest amount of tiny shards of semi-precious stone

G-Force Mach 2 - homogeneous mixture of slip resistant ceramic beads and and a greater amount of tiny shards of semi-precious stone. Lighter in color due to the higher percentage of white ceramic beads.

G-Force Mach 3 - a coating compriced of tiny shards of semi-precious stone. Dark in color due to the higher percentage of garnett.

G-Force Traction Matting is available in 3’ widths cut in lengths from 4’ to 40’ long. The material is extremely light and manageable: example – a 3’x10’ piece of G-Force Traction Matting weighs only 26 pounds and rolls into a 6” diameter roll for easy of handling. Its polyurethane base allows G-Force Traction Matting to stay flat – it will not curl. The material is extremely stable and resistant to many industrial spills and kitchen-type chemicals.

Please Note: G-Force Traction Matting is also available in a non-backed version, which is to say it can be manufactured without the polyurethane base so that the traction surface can be adhered directly to the substrate. The cementing technique is similar to that of linoleum sheet or tile. It is often installed in such situations as incline ramps, stair treads, marine docks, construction walkways, and amusement ride walkways.

G-Force Traction Matting was designed to be slip-resistant in wet, hazardous areas. This makes it especially useful when the environment is conducive to slip fall accident and when employees are standing, walking, pushing or pulling, or carrying items. G-Force Traction Matting is particularly useful in the following saftey situations:

Mach 1 Applications:

Cold and slick areas - Locations that are often moist and cold or freezing and in which employees are lifting or carrying items. These include walk-in freezers and coolers. G-Force Traction Matting is excellent over metal floors. Accumulated ice will pop off the mat when rolled up for cleaning.

Slippery areas - Locations that are dangerous, crowded and prone to accidents. These include food prep areas, production areas in factories, incline ramps, walkways and stairways. G-Force Traction Matting can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Wet areas - Locations that are routinely wet (or wet and soapy) and in which people work or pass through. These include areas near commercial sinks, floral design areas, dishwashing areas, ice machines, as well as beverage stations. G-Force Traction Matting is effective even when submerged.

Mach 2 Applications: (to be filled in time)

Mach 3 Applications:

G-Force Mach 3 Traction Matting was designed specifically for the fry area in restaurants, where grease is abundant. The coefficient of friction has been increased so much, it is actually too slip-resistant for most other areas. It is recommended for:

Greasy areas - locations that are often greasy, oily and dangerous. These include fry areas in kitchens, work stations, garages and production areas in factories.
